Do you want so to live and so to believe

that God would look at you and say, I am not ashamed to be your God. You want God to say that

over you? I am not ashamed to be your God.

Is it possible for God to be proud to be our God.

Right here in the middle of verse 16, I want you to see the word therefore.

There's a glorious therefore here.

It says in the middle of verse 16, therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God.

Now when I read that, I was stunned.

I've always looked at that and thought, that's awesome.

I mean, I try to, is there any place else in the Bible where God talks about being unashamed and I did some

word searches and I find all kinds of verses about my being unashamed of God, I don't know another place in the Bible

where the shame of God is at issue, God shame.

Where God looks shame in the face and says,

I will not have it.

I will not be ashamed.

God does not do shameful things.

Therefore he never feels shame.
