We'll start in 1st John chapter 4 and then we'll go to 1st Corinthians 13.

We've been in a series on the attributes of God.

If this is your first time here, this is our 10th message in this series. And we've called the series, God is. And we've been filling in the blank that God is love, God is grace, God is sovereign, God is omnipotent, God is omnipresent, God is omniscient,

God is infinite, God is eternal, God is immutable, all these things about God that help us understand who God is and how he acts.

And I just want to remind you that an attribute is not something that God has, it's something

that God is. It's not something God has, it's something God is.

God is, God is, God is, God is, God is. If an attribute was something that God had, then he might run out.

Somehow we might not get enough of him.

He might lose it.

He might use them up.

We might be in trouble.

We're 2,000 years since Jesus. Maybe God has used up all of his

grace or maybe he's used up all of his love. So that's what we're talking

about. Something God is. And this week we're going to talk about God is

love. Now the reason we went through And this

Now the reason we went through this series, I just want to remind you of this,

misconceptions about who God is are like cracks in foundations. In other words, sooner or later your Christian

practices, your beliefs, your standards will fall if you don't have a right concept of who God is.

And that's why we've been going through this.

God's love is, well let me put it this way,

all of the attributes, this is the last one in the series by the way.
