Summary

We live in a world full of change with unexpected suffering and situations beyond our control, and it's easy during that time to get caught up in our circumstances and miss God in the details.

 

Kim Johnson, on our new Pinehurst, North Carolina community team, reminds us in those moments where life has taken a turn it's important to remember God is good, faithful, and loving.  As Kim shares her story, you are going to be inspired to begin looking for God in the everyday and practicing the discipline of gratitude. And, if you're not someone who journals, Kim just may motivate you to start!

So God's just so faithful. Our circumstances don't define his character. His character is love to be loving and to be faithful and to be present. And our circumstances, if we allow them to define for us what our character is, and if we allow God

Carolina. And y'all, we are so excited. Pinehurst is one of our brand new communities. Last

week, you got a story from Raleigh, North Carolina. And today we're traveling

about an hour over. We're so excited for Pinehurst. And Kim is actually a member of their team.

And so welcome Pinehurst. And y'all get ready because Kim's story is literally a story of one million

miracles. And also, Robin, you know, I said, I feel like this year God has been giving us stories

about looking for him outside of what we're praying for.

And I think that Kim's story is completely about that.

It is a story of wholeheartedly trusting God in the midst of, honestly, terrible tragedy.

But it's also a story to me of God showing up through his people and his faithfulness.
