I originally preached this message on Sunday morning September 9th, 2001.

We had technical difficulties though and we couldn't record it.

So I scheduled to record it again today, September 11th, 2001. But I've been at home most of the morning

watching the horrible reports of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center

buildings and the Pentagon and the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania.

Our prayers are obviously with the victim's families.

We're also praying for the security of all American families.

But let me tell you what we're praying for the most.

We're praying for a spiritual

awakening in our nation and in the world. This message is the second in the series

about the attributes of God entitled God is good. What we saw on television today was a clear

representation of the attributes of Satan and the destruction and the devastation that depraved hearts produce.

The most amazing pictures I saw today were the pictures of some people actually rejoicing over what happened. I could not believe

it when I saw it. It broke my heart. Only Satan can produce that kind of hatred and deception. The only hope for our world is the

propagation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that people's hearts are changed by the power of God.

As I said last week, God is a person, and he weeps when we weep.

Clearly, he is weeping with the whole world today.

Lord, we just submit to you what happened.

Father, we pray for the victim's families.

Lord, we pray for mercy and grace.

God, we pray, mercy and grace.

God we pray Lord that you would be with them even now
