Let's go to Nehemiah chapter 8.

Vers 10, a little backdrop of this particular biblical narrative,

Nehemiah is commissioned to rebuild the wall. And as they have rebuilt the wall, now it's an opportunity for

the word to rebuild them. So Ezra, the teacher, is teaching the law and reading the law to God's chosen people and

they're weeping, they're crying.

And Nehemiah's like, okay, you have a heart of repentance, but God now wants to restore us.

He wants to restore us because please hear me, I've learned this to my old personal life,

if I was a no take out, this down you don't get the peace of

God outside of God's will. Did you hear me? Well now I'll pass I I got peace. No, you got a spurt of happiness. And happiness

depends on what happens to you. So this means once something bad happens, that little

spurt of happiness is gone, but the joy of the Lord

has duration and is consistent.

Does that make sense?

So this passage of scripture, just one verse, we're going to read, and then later on throughout this

harmonic presentation, we're going to break it down.

Nehemiah chapter 8, verse 10.

It says, then he said to them, go your way, eat the fact, drink the sweet, and send portion to those

of whom nothing is prepared.

For this is the day.

For this day is holy to our Lord,
