Hello my friends welcome back to the morning mindset I hope you're ready to get your mind

aligned with the truth of God that's what we're doing today and I want to ask you to think about yourself or another person

who sometimes get stuck in either or thinking. Meaning you see things one way or the other and you have a difficult time merging the two together

and seeing how both could be true in certain circumstances or both could be possible.

That really is what the Apostle Paul is bringing to our

attention today because he's been talking to us about how Israel who rejected the

Messiah is still an object of God's attention and is still a people that he is pursuing,

that there's opportunity for them in the future and even right now to turn their hearts toward the Messiah and come to faith in him.

And Paul is warning us as those who have already received faith in Jesus Christ, not to become arrogant, not to become

wise in our own eyes as he says here in verse 25. Let's read it in Romans chapter 11

verse 25 he says lest you be wise in your own sight. in that you didn't know beforehand but I'm about to explain it to you.

He says a partial hardening has come upon Israel

until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

And in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written, the

deliverer will come from Zion. He will banish ungodliness from Jacob.

And this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.

So let's pause for a moment, make sure we're understanding what Paul's saying here.

He's saying God's plan all the long was to harden Israel partially for a time in order to reach out to us

Gentiles, non- Jews who need to come to faith and the Savior.

And he says in this way, through this plan,

is how God intends to save Israel.

And he's saying he will keep his covenant
