Seven years ago, we began these daily broadcast.

You may not know this, but enjoying the journey actually started during the Christmas season.

We set aside a month of Christmas

studies to search the scriptures, to learn the beautiful joy of the coming of Christ and all that

was connected to it. And now, as we celebrate the end of our seventh year of broadcast, I'm so excited

to share these studies with you again. I want to encourage you to

get your Bible, get your family, sit down, and let's worship our great Christ together. At the

conclusion of today's study, Greg will come and tell you more about how you can obtain other resources

that will help you in your Bible study and family life

and how you can pray with us and help us in the days ahead.

I have on my desk right now a book of famous Christmas sermons.

Some are given by men that you've heard of,

and some are given by people, perhaps you've never heard their name, but they're amazing Bible messages.

But could I suggest to you today that the Apostle Paul himself preached some of the greatest Christmas

messages of all time? For example, there's 2 Corinthians 8 verse 9 that says that

though He Christ was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty

might be rich. And then there's Galatians 4-4, but when the fullness of the time was come,

God sent forth his son, made of a woman, made under the law,
