I love the idea that God is remodeling our lives. He's in the process of renovating, rebuilding

and renewing us into our new man identity in Christ.

A prime piece of this spiritual walk is the restoring of our thinking

and the development of new mindsets that are rooted in how God sees us in our new identity.

We've grown up in the world with a strong attachment to doubt, pessimism and unbelief.

And if we're constantly fighting these things off,

then we have the opportunity to replace those thoughts

and those feelings with much better ones.

In the kingdom we get rid of a negative not by focusing on it but by actually replacing it. We should always be asking therefore,

Lord, what are you doing? So that we can learn to think about ourselves

in the way that he sees us in Jesus.

I love the whole idea that he has no bad thoughts towards us.

Only a desire to see us conformed into the image of Jesus. So to empower you to

experience his thoughts towards you, here's a great clip. So I'm going to read the Bible.

Okay, I'm going to read 2 Corinthians 10 and verse four. It says, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the

flesh, but they are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

And we are ready to punish all disobedience whenever your obedience is complete.

What that means is your obedience makes you ready to get
