1:05.6 | Can you talk about kind of your background and what led you to write this book god government and the road to |
1:11.3 | tyranny well i i got saved in the 1981 i was raised in a catholic home but never really believed |
1:19.6 | and i was in the marine corps when one situation led to another and i came to christ and so then in 1981 at the age of 21, I started to rethink everything, you know, I had been taught. |
1:35.4 | And by doing that, I started finding out that, you know, and even the Marine Corps taught me |
1:41.8 | that communism and socialism are bad. They're not good for people. |
1:46.2 | It leads to the genocide, to the slaughter of multitudes. And so as I grew in my Christian walk and I started studying Christian apologetics, I also saw that there was a need to engage in political moral issues of our day and interpret them from the biblical worldview |
2:05.6 | and argue that the biblical position would be the best that would promote freedom. |
2:10.7 | And so that's how I got started on this particular issue. |
