0:00.0	Hey there. I'm so glad you stopped by for this podcast. We hope so much we can serve you today.
0:13.2	Turn with me if you would please to Romans chapter 8. I have to start back at verse 28 to keep in
0:21.3	context. Our verses today are actually 31 through 34 but they're going to ask a question that
0:29.2	reflect back on the previous verses. In fact, several of my commentaries are convinced
0:36.0	that the question is directed to most of the preceding part of the book that it really is a climactic
0:42.5	point in Paul's letter to the Romans and I certainly want us to view it as that. So I'm starting
0:49.6	at verse 28 of Romans 8 and we know, everybody say it again, you know, say it. We know that in all
0:57.4	things God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his
1:02.5	purpose for those God for new. He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his son.
1:11.1	Ooh, he just told me something to write down and say to you, hold on, hold on. It's going to be
1:16.2	later in the lesson but I'm getting a word right this minute. You just sit tight. Thank you Lord.
1:23.6	Okay, I'll receive that, Father. Ooh, yeah. Mm-hmm. Where was I? Those God for new, he also
1:31.2	predestined. What made me think of this is what do we call this? This, this five chain truth that
1:38.3	God has worked in us and is working in us. What did we call it for the last couple of weeks?
1:43.4	The golden chain scholars through the ages have called this the golden chain. He for new, he also
1:48.8	predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his son that he might be the first born among many
1:54.0	brothers and those he predestined, what did he do? He also called and those he called, he did what?
2:00.4	And those he justified, he did what? All right, it says in verse 31, what then shall we say in response
2:08.4	to this? Because you and I have got to have a response, not just a lesson. When you and I come
2:14.8	together and we hear the word of God, we didn't just come to get a brain full of scripture.
2:22.7	God is calling us to a response. We hear the truth of God. There is a response, whether it's that
2:31.1	I don't receive that and I'm not going to react to it. It doesn't mean that there was no response to
