When I was in my 20s, the founder and director of our ministry,

Del Fasenfeld Jr., said to someone on our team,

and we were most of us young, he commented on the

fact that there were a number of older Christian leaders who were passing off the scene, and he said to

us, the time is coming when it will be our turn to be Christian leaders, and we need to be picking up

the baton and thinking about what our responsibility is to the next generation.

Well, several years later, our founder became terminally ill.
