All right, we're diving back into this character study we are doing of the Biblical character,

Daniel.

Daniel is a slave in Babylon.

He has gone through this education program that the Babylonian king has put in place and

he is one of the wise men in Babylon at this time.

Now our situation is the king has had a dream, it's been very troubling to him, he's demanded

that his wise men both tell him what his dream was and explain what it means and none

of them can do it.

Daniel has just discovered that the king has made this edict and that he's threatening

to kill all of the wise men if no one can answer him.

And so Daniel has told the man in charge of killing everyone, set me an appointment

with the king.

I will tell him his dream and I will explain it to him.

And yet Daniel does not know what the dream is.
