Hello, Church Home, and thank you so much for taking this time to join us for our daily guided prayer.

Let's take a moment to get into a quiet place, to rest, and to connect with Jesus.

If there's anything that can distract you, let's put those to the side right now

and posture our heart and soul to receive from God.

Let's close our eyes to take a few breaths and relax,

to position yourself in a place with your mind on Jesus.

Have you ever questioned why does God want to be with you?

Have you ever wondered why that person has a good relationship with Jesus?

It seems like they always hear God's voice

or they have some miraculous thing happen in their life.

Have you ever thought something must be wrong with my faith?

Because I don't know if God loves me that much.

Or are you reminded of your past or current actions? Just think, I don't know if I could

ever have a good relationship with Jesus. Let's bring those feelings and your full self to God today

as we go into this daily guided prayer. God has always wanted to be your friend. He has done the work to ensure that there is a friendship between him and you.

In simplicity, God has already said that you're his bestie.

John 15, 13 and 15 states,

greater love has no one than this, that someone laid down his life for his friends.

No longer do I call you servants, but the servant does not know what his master is doing.

I have called you friends. For all that I have heard from my Father, I have made known to you.

Jesus has already laid his life down for you to show that you are his friend.

Jesus gave up his life, not just for your servanthood, but for your heart and friendship.
