0:14.7	welcome to a feminine impression podcast. I'm your host Dr. Michelle Daff and we are continuing our series on when women pray. This is a book club that we just
0:26.8	started. We are on chapter 2 and each week we focus on a different woman in the
0:31.9	Bible. This week we are focusing on Mary, the mother of Jesus.
0:36.4	And we're going to dive into how the Lord used her life to bring redemption in a dark situation.
0:44.1	Mary is one of those women in the Bible
0:46.2	that we sometimes overlook, because we think of her
0:50.5	as this amazing woman who carry the Messiah into this world.
0:55.0	But we fail to remember the many things that she may have endured throughout this time.
1:01.0	Being a young girl who was engaged and excited about what her future was going to be like.
1:06.7	I hope that this allows you to be able to look into your life and think about the ways in which the Lord is leading you out of a place of darkness into a place of courage.
1:17.0	So I want you to go ahead and sit back, relax, get something to drink, get something to write with, and let's talk about this.
1:27.0	So before we get into it, I want us just to kind of open up with a prayer because this whole book is teaching us to pray more.
1:39.0	And that's something that can be very difficult, but it's absolutely necessary. So I want to also practice
1:47.1	praying more even in settings like this to just show you how important it is in kind of getting into that place to invite
1:56.5	the presence of God. Heavenly Father we thank you for allowing us to be here today.
2:00.5	Thank you for all of your daughters who are here to fellowship in your name and to learn about how you can bring
2:06.9	the redemption through a time of darkness. We invite you into our spaces, into our
2:12.0	homes, we ask that your presence be with us throughout this time of fellowship that you send
2:17.2	your angels to watch over us and allow us to be able to receive this message that you have today. In Jesus
