There are a couple of big college football playoff games coming up big week of the NFL week 17.

And Goal put out the Goal back signal that he wanted to talk about all this stuff. And therefore we were all pulled off of vacation and we were forced to talk to Mike Goal.

Must be nice to have that kind of cloud where you say, hey guys, we should do something and everybody goes, yeah, we should totally do something.

Right. Well, Mike's got that kind of cloud. So we're going to talk to Mike Goal, senior, just Mike Goal, senior here on this week's edition of God Bless Football.

Again, we came out of vacation to do this for you. We thought it was important. A lot of big football news. Mike wanted to talk about it.

I wanted to talk about it. Mikey, a wanted nothing to do with it, but that's okay. We're going to do it anyway. So and when in Rome, I'll make my picks as well.

I mean, listen, we're waiting on goal. Okay, because a lot of things have happened. We have, you know, the national semi finals college football coming up on Friday night, big week in the NFL week 17 John Madden passed away.

And so there's a lot to get bad week to take off, Mike. Okay, but Goal, like told us the reason we're waiting for Mike, goal, senior is because he was doing something with CNN. Do I have that correct, Mike? What a big shot this guy is CNN, Jesus.

Now listen, what can I tell you? Oh, there he is. I just Mikey A didn't ask you. I mean, Jesus Christ. Look at me. I got to do CNN real quick. I can give you guys a little bit of my time. Then I got to get over big boys. All right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So Anderson Cooper is the big boys. That what you're saying? I mean, who are you on with that CNN?

Today is Jim Acosta. Oh, God, you seem disappointed by that. No, I've been on with, man, I've been on with Wolf Blitzer and, you know, I'm just I'm that guy. What can I tell you? Yeah. You're the guy from what?

I'm what we know what job that impasses away you the go to guys. Is that what you're saying? I'm the guy that said, yes, what happens? Exactly on vacation on holiday. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. Hey, as a as a former producer of, you know, actual radio, that's a big deal. Someone who you know will say, yes, big deal. Well, that that's kind of what it was like in Philly. I was kind of the go to interview when when other guys didn't want to talk. I'm like, yeah, I will. I know you guys got a job to do. So yeah. Yeah.

What is the so how many times have you been on CNN? Like, like, probably I'd say eight to 10 times. Okay. What's the, like, you know, whatever a big, you know, kind of sports story. You know, I've been on more than probably four or five times about COVID alone. Right. What's the oddest show you've ever been invited on as he gets it. Well, it's not letter. I mean, you guys were massive stars when you went on. Yeah, I mean, we're on Letterman 11 times. I see the artist. Yeah. And one time it was hilarious.

It was on April 1st, April Fool's Day. But we got bumped. And we thought it was an April Fool's joke until we were in our cars heading home going. We really got bumped.

Like wow. Okay. But what is the, what's the strangest request that God, I don't know. That's a good one. I have to think about that. I'm sure there's been one.

I mean, Jim Acosta CNN has to be tough five. All right. Listen, the first time they called me, by the way, I would kill to be. I would love to be on CNN with Jim Acosta.

Listen, I was surprised, you know, when they started calling, I think over a year ago and just asked me, Hey, you know, yeah, time to do this. I'm like, yeah. And once I did it, I was, they were like, Okay, we're going to keep calling you for stories. I'm like, All right. That's fine by me. Give you shit. Cool.

So Mike, you are going on CNN to talk about John Madden. Do you ever meet John Madden? Have you?
