Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Erla. To appreciate who Jesus is and what he has done for us, we need to know what God's original plan for humankind was and what happened.

In Genesis 128 we are told that we were made in the

image of God which means God created us not only with the body but with the soul

making us capable of sharing in the very life of God and becoming like Him.

Made in the image of God we needed something very special to become like God.

For the image of God and the likeness of God are two different things.

To become like God, he would need to share his divine life with us,
