Very important what you're doing this morning,

coming to learn the Word of God sitting here at church with a lot of believers that are here.

But you're coming here to hear the Word of God so that God can speak to you.

And when you do that throughout the week, God will use your life tremendously.

In 1 Samuel chapter 30, here's Roll Rees.

He begins in verse 1 by saying, and now it happened when David and his man came to Siglatt on the third day.

That the Amalekites had invaded the south of Hilka,

attacks Hilka and burned it with fire.

So while David was away with the Philocytes,

the Amalekites went ahead and they fought against Philocytes and defeated the phyllisines.
