broadcast that we're doing about the elections that are coming up. Elections

that are taking place right now and

Pastor Terry and I are hosting this together and you know Terry one of the things that I really like about this

is the fact that the information that we're bringing is clear and it's simple.

It's looking at one platform and another platform and what does the Bible say about it?

And as believers, we are required by God to go to the Bible platform and and then use that in our

assessments our judgment our vote yeah where the other two platforms are concerned.

It's really the way we're supposed to conduct our entire life.

I'm particularly encouraged and excited about our topic today.

You know, I am so big on purpose.

Purpose is without it, you're just just you're barely alive purpose gives us a reason that

God has for us but you know if you apply the purpose that God has for something and you try to misuse it, well it goes

awry, it's destructive instead of helpful.

And today we're going to be talking about the purpose of government.

What is the role of government? If it's properly applied according to the Bible, then it's a benefit, it's a help, it's a

support, and it undergirds God's purpose for your life individually. But if we

misapply that purpose and we try to do something with it that God

did not ordain, God did not design, it's not only destructive in the whole, the whole of the nation can be very destructive in our own

lives and our own families of churches and communities. So again today we have
