The What is up, ladies and gentlemen? Welcome back to Fajemar. This is the Oldest Scrolls podcast. I'm Scott here with Michael Andrew, and today we are talking about goblins and more broadly, goblin ken or whatever.

The goblin-like creatures additionally, sort of things like ogres and reeklings and stuff

that get lumped into the one group under the umbrella of Malacath cares about you.

So which one of you guys like to start us off?

I mean, it's immediately quite interesting to talk about the fact that they're associated with Malacath.

Because other than their appearance, not much really ties them altogether, except for the fact that Malacath is the god of the orsima.

Which, there's going to be a whole argument about the connection between the orcs and the goblin can as well.

So it is a strange...

Chronologically too, it's kind of odd because it kind of implies that you have the goblins...

Like what was their worship basically, I guess, before Trinomac was turned into Malacath or something like that.

Although then again, there is that kind of concept where it's like gods kind of exists

outside of time and so on.

And so that theoretically, if a god became true, truer now, like it came to creation,

the first era that retroactively they kind of exist.

To be fair, though, there's no

reason why they couldn't pick up worship of him later. Like, I mean, you look at other races of the

Elder Scrolls universe. It's not like they needed to keep that same religion since their origin point.

I mean, look at what St. Alicia did creating the divine pantheon and how obviously the needs becoming imperials and other races

over time would have taken on different religious you know viewpoints it wouldn't surprise me that

you know the goblins started worshipping malacath when malacath was more of a thing yeah i always got

the impression that you know no offense to the goblin Ken, but they're not
