Welcome to the Finding Joy in Your Home Podcast. I am your host, Jamie Valmay, and this is the podcast where we blend deeply theological topics with thoroughly practical application, all for God's glory.

0:12.7

Hey, friends, welcome back to the Finding Joy in Your Home podcast. I am your host, Jamie Valmay. So in the last couple of episodes, we have been talking about setting

0:21.9

goals for the new year. And we have been breaking down. We've been in brainstorm mode. We've

0:27.1

been breaking down what this process looks like. A lot of us when we hit January are ready to set

0:32.3

some new goals for the year. We're excited. We're motivated. But we want to be able to make goals that are actually sustainable,

0:39.7

that we can fit into our routines, that we're actually going to take action on.

0:43.4

That's the hard part.

0:44.6

So in the last two episodes, we broke those down.

0:46.7

with his cold he's kind of had is exasperated and he is not talking well. So this morning we're

1:03.6

sitting there and I'm thinking there's no way you're going to be able to do this. So I said,

1:07.2

do we need to push that episode to next week? And he was like, yes. So Jason will be

1:14.1

joining me. It's going to be a really fun one. We have all of our goals planned out and some really

1:18.6

fun things we want to talk through with you guys. So since we're not able to record that right now,

1:22.6

and I am in full on baking mode for Christmas, what I'm giving you guys is actually an extra special bonus episode.

1:30.3

So this episode is on setting goals for the new year, but in a more theoretical standpoint, right?

1:36.3

So Jason and I were actually going to talk about our actual goals and breaking those down.

1:40.1

But today's episode is one that's going to be some really good goal planning tips that are built on

1:45.2

these last two episodes I shared on the podcast. So this class you're getting today is actually a

1:51.6

class from my private mentorship program, my homemaking mentor. It's for Christian homemakers,
