Hi everybody.

This short segment is what we call for the good of the order.

It's something we used to do at the end of my sorority meetings, if you can believe that,

where someone would share something that they came across in the course of the week, a poem, a song lyric, a short story, that they found enormously helpful as they went about daily life.

And I wanted to pick up the thread because I am so often wowed by something I see in the world

that I want to bring back and hand off to you.

So every Friday we produce a short segment called for the good of the order.

Think of it like an audio greeting card, a thing to share with the people that you love around the country

who you don't get to see or talk to enough. A thing to discuss with the people you do see and talk to

on a more regular basis.

This is Kelly Corrigan Wonders for the good of the order. Hey guys, so this is another for the good of the order, which just is my way of trying

to offer something up for all of us to take into the weekend that might help us know more or feel more, do more, or be better

because that's the whole point of this thing.

So I was reflecting on this funny thing which is that Edward, my husband told me like 10 years ago,

you should have a podcast, he came like barely in the back door.

And you know he works with all these young engineers who are smarter than hell and make me feel like I'm about

106 years old and I thought like I don't even know what a pod what and I wouldn't

have the first clue how to upload something etc

and then I was just with these three younger people who I love Kelly David

and Hally if you're listening, and they were going on on about Tic-Tac,

and I was having that same feeling of like, oh my God, I can't deal with this.

And then I was with my mom, who was showing me all the things she can do with her television set, which she's quite
