this is the busted open podcast top to bottom how did you feel about the show getting you ready

for SummerSlam uh i thought w w did a good job last night of leading us into SummerSlam. I mean,

especially with the end. There were some hiccups along the way. I know a lot of people were a little

confused by the opening promo from Haman. It's pretty funny, though, as I was listening to

Heyman's promo, the first words that came to mind was, wow, he's planting the seeds of doubt in Jay Uso's brain.

And immediately after I thought of that, Cole said on commentary, Paul Heyman, planting the seeds of doubt.

I know a lot of people didn't

understand the promo, but that's what Hayman was doing. He was talking about family, you know,

and how your family doesn't really love you or you can't really trust your family and, you know,

planning those seeds on Jay, you know, getting him thinking. And one of the things that I really liked about

the opening promo last night is one of the things that I hate in the business recently, and that's

talent not selling with their face what the other person is saying.

I thought Jay Uso did a really great job of showing us on his face,

how Paul Heyman's words were resonating with him.

And damn, maybe he's right.
