So we are well into May.

And hopefully that means, I mean, you know, bikini season is coming up in a couple of weeks, baby.

And this is the time of year when you want to start looking good and shedding the January fatress that you've been sleeping on.

And it's fine.

I just want you to be happy.

happy first and foremost with a functioning body. And a body functions best when it's challenged and when it has

goals. So I read a lot of stuff about fitness and nutrition. I am by no means an expert because I love to eat

and I have a sweet tooth so I will never ever be stick thin and I am absolutely fine with that.

I would always like to be faster though. I would always like to be fitter because not only do I want to be in good

shape now, now that I'm in my 50s and I'm looking forward, I want to be in good shape for a long

time so I don't just live a long time. So I live a full and wonderful life. And for me,

that means eating as well as I can and having year-round fitness. So I'm going to tell a

slight personal story. I did a half-iron man in December in Palm Springs, Indian Wells.

It was a super fun race because I wasn't chained to my watch. So my big race was supposed to be in June, which was Eagleman and Delaware. I injured my quad and my pyriformis, which if you do extensive running and long workouts, things are going to break down and you have to listen to your body.

The most important thing, whenever you start training, whether it's a run, if you're

swimming or biking, if you're doing triathlon or whatever it is, your particular brand of
