That's right, it is Go Birds Radio. Elliot Short Park's James Seltzer, with you, Tilt 3 leading you up to Philly's baseball at 4 o'clock on WIP. And we've got three wins in the last two days in Philadelphia Sports. How about that? Who would have thunk at Elliott Shure Parks? We thought a week ago when we were sitting here talking to our real ones and we want to talk to all of you today, 215, 592, 94, 94 for reaction to game one. When we were previewing week one and, you know, we had a lot of Super Bowl and this and that, and they're definitely going to beat Dallas. We all thought we'd be sitting here 1 and 0 a week later. Didn't expect it to come that way. No. What an insane way to start the season. The craziest start to an Eagles season, I think, when you take the whole thing. And really says it that they opened in Brazil last year. Exactly. Yes. They started a season with a Trotter-Ike fight where people get a jacket. And it's still crazier. We got an injection. We got an injury to start the game. We got a rain delay.

We got all kinds of craziness.

And at the end of the day, we sit here. I want to know. Just like we predicted. Dell sucks. Go birds. Yeah. How you doing, pal? Good. So I've had a chance to rewatch the game a few times since then. and uh

I'm not trying to come up. Like, they won. And you, we know, we are texting about this.

The thing you've probably influenced me the most on since we started the pod is that the first

month is the preseason. Which I've been saying for years now. You have. But it just looked like the training camp offense to me. I mean, we talked to her in training camp every day. We debated whether or not it mattered. Like, I saw that training camp offense go into week one. So I've watched it a few times since then. And honestly, I came away way more impressed with a bunch of different players on the defense the side of the ball.

Like, I agree losing Jalen Carter mattered, and we'll get into the positives on the defense, I'm sure. There were some true standout players. But yeah, I've watched it a few times, and I know it's preseason. Technically, I know it's kind of the preseason for the first month. I just still come away more discouraged from that one than I do encouraged. Yeah, and look, I get it.
