So he's off the jump already, not feeling good about the team. And I don't blame you, right? I was in LA, took a red eye back. Let me tell you. Red eyes, I'm not built for him anymore. Can't sleep. It was a long day yesterday. But one thing I did do when I finally kind of caught up on sleep and was able to to watch it with a clear head was I rewatched the game against the Chargers.

but I need to be honest with you and I need to be honest with all the listeners. I'm not out on the team.

I'm not. I'm sorry like I know and I said to James on some of the pods during the week like like, I won't make the same mistake I did in 2023. And in 2023, I went down with the ship. I have this distinct memory of being at the Buccaneer Stadium on the pregame show, picking the Eagles to win that game, right? And I feel foolish about it now, because it even show up in that game. But as I rewatch that Chargers game,

and to borrow a Darry kind of phrase here, and I hate to, you know, I'm the little Darryl Mori, so I guess I can use it. If you squint and you rewatch that game, I feel good about the offense for a Monday night. So rewatching that game, I feel good about the offense. I'll explain to you guys why in a minute.

But overall, I needed to get it off my chest. I was on with the Spike Eich and Fritz earlier.

We didn't really get into it. I need to let the GoBirds listeners know. I need to let the WIP audience know.

While I get why people are frustrated with the team and I understand why they are hard to believe in. I'm not out on them. And despite my best judgment, when I watch that game again on Monday night, I actually feel encouraged about where they're at. And I think they still have a shot to go to the Super Bowl. Where are you at with them? Super Bowl, no. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, no. Not at all.

No chance.

Not the way they're trending right.

If they win their final four games, yeah, that's a different story.
