What's going on, everybody, and good morning.

Today is Friday, November 14th, and this is your daily Go Birds morning update,

giving you all the Eagles news you need to know, as well as what to keep an eye out for today.

And it is Friday, and it also feels like it's finally time mostly to turn the page to the Detroit Lions into this upcoming game and some other issues facing the team besides just what

AJ Brown said this week that has dominated the last few days. Now, let's not be crazy. We are going to

talk about that somewhat. I want to play what Jalen Hertz had to say for you about it. I want to play what AJ had to say about Jalen. And then our good friend Joe Gillio, I thought had some interesting stats. But outside of that, we're going to talk about what Vic Fangio had to say about a couple interesting things on the defense. And then I want to start previewing this game because I really think this is the biggest matchup in the regular season.

The Eagles have played since 2023 versus San Francisco. And I know that bringing that game up probably doesn't, you know, make fans feel good about the matchup. I just mean in terms of a long time anticipated matchup. That one was a rematch. This one we haven't seen. And just a, you know, big time regular

season game where I think it really is, you know, you view that Niners game as kind of where we all

feel the 2023 Eagles got exposed, right? Like they got like punked in their own house. And I don't

expect this team for that to happen. But I do think it is a similar matchup of tough teams going at it. And we'll see if the Eagles can match the Lions toughness, but also we'll see if the lions can match the Eagles toughness. I don't think the Lions are the tougher team. But I also don't know if the Eagles are the tougher team. I think this is truly a matchup between two powerhouse tough physical teams built similarly, and I can't wait for it.

So we're going to preview that, and of course we're going to start previewing it where it's

going to be decided in the trenches.
