What's going on, everybody, and good morning.

Today is Saturday, May 9th, and this is your daily Go Birds morning update, giving you

all the Eagles news you need to know, as well as what to keep an eye out for today.

And I hope you all had a great Friday, and I hope you're preparing to have a great Saturday. And as is the case, always with the Saturday pods, is this one will be on a little bit of the shorter side. But man, I've had this in my head all week. I've actually been thinking about it a lot since the draft. When they added players, they traded for Jonathan Grenard. and I guess really all offseason, I'm a man of lists. I enjoy lists. I love ranking things. I love thinking of things in terms of rankings. It often drives Kristen crazy because I'll just be sitting on the couch and be like, what do you like better? This or this. If you had to rank the five vacations we were on, how would you rank them what do you want for dinner tell me from one to three normally it's me asking though

like i'll ask normally by like eight, nine in the morning what's for dinner. I'm very big into knowing what I'm going to eat for dinner. And I'm sure it's quite annoying. And the ranking can be quite annoying. But I feel like that's why I landed in the field I am.

I love to rank. And today, we're going to rank some stuff because I've been thinking a lot over

this offseason. And again, really a lot since the draft. Who are the best players on the Eagles?

Because we talk about this team, like, and this really also hammered home when I did the NFC East breaking down of the rosters. I think that this team like and I this really also hammered home when I did the NFC east breaking down of the

rosters I think that this team has a low well a lowish floor maybe a lower floor than they've had in

past years just because there is a brand new coaching staff on offense and that's a lot to manage right

for Nick and they're going to try a new thing. But I also think we may be

under underestimate just how much talent is on this team. But with AJ out the door, not going to be

on this list, it is interesting to think who the best players are. Like, Lane is probably in the last

year of his career, right? They don't have, like, really any safeties that would be in this

discussion. So they're players that are great players. They have a really interesting mixture of, like,

all-time great players, like in Lane. My Lada, I think, is probably in that discussion now in

terms of tackles for this franchise. Zach Bond is probably a top five linebacker in franchise history. I would think there's probably someone out there that's going to educate me on this, but I would think he would probably have to be. They got great players, but they also don't have like the clear-cut guys that they used to. Sequin, you know, two years ago is maybe number one on this list.

I don't even have them in my top 10. So what I want to do today is go over who I think the top

10 Eagles are on the roster right now. And I'll probably do this again closer to training camp,

but it's a nice little Saturday walk around. Maybe you're with your dog. Maybe you're working
