Go Birds morning update, giving you all the Eagles news you need to know, as well as what to keep an eye

out for today. And happy beginning of the week, everybody unfortunately probably back at work.

But in addition to everybody else being back at work, the Eagles back to work today.

And it's an exciting day in the off season.

It is officially the start of the third phase of OTAs, which means we got football being played in South Philly.

Yes, they have been there. They have had practices. They've thrown the ball, that type of thing.

But now we get what really looks like football to us. They're allowed to do seven on seven.

They're allowed to do 11 on 11. And they now start their OTA practices where really like we get to watch. I'll be

down there, I believe, tomorrow, unless something changes since I recorded this. But I will definitely

get a chance to watch them this week. We'll have notes. We'll have OTA stats. We'll have how much is

Jaylen under center? Can't wait to do that with you guys. So what else do you need to know about phase three of OTAs? Well, it's a four week. It's a four week phase. They've been in OTAs for five weeks. This next phase is four weeks. They get three weeks of 10 total OTAs. The Eagles are only doing six, so they're doing four less than they're allowed.

They're allowed three OTAs each week for the first two weeks, and they have two this week,

so they're only going to use two of the three. A maximum of four OTAs for the third or fourth week.

One week of mini camp, that's the mandatory mini camp, which is, you know, the last kind of part of this phase.

And like I said, they can do seven on seven and 11 on 11, but there's no live contact and no pads

except protective knee and elbow pads. Helmets are permitted. So they'll be out there just in shirts

and helmets, but it'll be football. It'll be stats. There'll be touchdowns, interceptions.

I can't wait. But this is also an exciting time because it's my first 53-man roster projection

of the offseason. I've done the locks bubble long-shot thing that I love to do with the roster.

But now, with the draft over, with this phase of OTA's beginning, I think it's a good time to take a look at who I think has a roster spot, who I think doesn't have a roster spot, and who needs to work hard over this next month and impress coaches to get on that roster.
