What's going on, everybody, and good morning.

Today is Tuesday, March 17th, and this is your daily Go Birds morning update, giving you all the Eagles news you need to know, as well as what, to keep an eye out for today.

to the week. I hope you stayed dried. It was a very rainy day on Monday on pretty much the entire

East Coast, you know, pretty much rain everywhere. So I hope you're able to stay dry. Hope you

you're able to enjoy the beginning of your week. We got a lot to get into today, as we heard

for the first time from New Eagles edge rusher,

Arnold Ebikati, an all-time Great Eagle. I think he's probably an all-time Great Eagle,

did retire. So we will talk about Big Play Slay, the team's number one cornerback during their

Super Bowl run, debatably number one corner quarterback, certainly a number one quarterback for a few

years. Jalen Phillips spoke to the media for the first time since signing with the Panthers, and of course,

it wouldn't be a daily pod if we didn't talk about AJ Brown, because we have a few updates there

in terms of, A, a new team potentially interested, and B, where the team's cap is truly at right now in the idea that they can't trade them before June 1st. So that'll be later in the pod. You'll get your AJ fixed then. But for now, let's get your day going and talk about Arnold Ebikati. So, as we all know, the Eagles signed him to a one-year deal last week. I believe it was up to $7 million, $4.5 million guaranteed.

So got a, you know, a nice chunk of change. Got like the slightly better version of the

Aziz-Ojolari contract from last year. And we've talked about him on the pod,

16 and a half sacks in four years, two years with six sacks. And the other two years,

obviously not as good. 120 quarterback pressures over four years. So definitely has shown potential was a second round pick. But they have a lot of edge rushers there. He's allowed to leave Atlanta ends up in Philadelphia. And I think it's a solid signing. I think he'll fight for playing time. I think Jalix will go into the year, barring another move as the number one

edge rusher. I think Nolan Smith will be the starter opposite Jalix. But if they don't make any other moves besides like, let's say, signing a rookie, I think Ebyke, Ebbokatee could beat out Nolan for that job. So it'll be interesting to watching training camp. My guess is they will add somebody else. Jonathan Granard, I think, is still a possibility.
