What's going on, everybody, and good morning.

Today is Tuesday, June 2nd, and this is your daily Goat Birds morning update, giving you

all the Eagles news you need to know, as well as what to keep an eye out for today.

And well, for the first time after months and weeks,

arguably years of talking about it, we wake up this morning and A.J. Brown is not a member

of the Philadelphia Eagles. Yes, in case you've been sleeping under a very heavy soundproof rock,

AJ Brown was traded to the New England Patriots on Monday

ending, as I said, weeks and months of speculation about him being traded. So the final return was

essentially what, you know, people were speculating on. The Eagles end up sending A.J. Brown to

the Patriots in exchange for a 28 first round pick and a 2027 fifth round pick.

So the 2027 fifth round pick, not nothing, but certainly the heart of this trade is the Eagles are sending AJ for that 2028 first round pick.

So the Eagles end up getting a first round pick.

We'll talk about the compensation,

obviously, a lot over the next few days. In your pod feed is a pod from James with his initial
