What's going on, everybody, and good morning.

Today is Friday, January 16th, and this is your daily Goatbirds morning update,

giving you all the Eagles news you need to know, as well as what to keep an eye out for today.

Look, I'll be lying if I wasn't saying I am thinking that I should be getting on a plane today's Chicago. I was planning on going out on Friday. I was going to do Go Birds Radio from Chicago. The Eagles were going to play the Bears on Sunday. Full confession, I think I was going to pick them to lose that game. So this probably would have been the end of the road anyway. But man, didn't think what I would be doing is recapping of an end of season, Howie Roseman and Nixirani Press Conference, where they're discussing the firing of Kevin Petullo. But that is what we are doing and we will do it together on this Friday. So on today's pod, we got a lot

to get into. There's a lot of little pieces of news to discuss. We have a new name attached to the

Eagles when it comes to who they're interested in for the offensive coordinator position.

And then, as I said, Nick and Howie, like I said, all week, they would talk at any minute, right?

Like, we would get a text three hours before and say, it's like the white smoke from the Novacare saying they're ready to talk. So Nick and Howie did talk on Thursday. They talked for about a half hour. And there's a lot to get into from that. And then, so I'm going to, here's how we're going to do this.
