What's going on, everybody, and good morning.

Today is Monday, December 22nd, and this is your daily Goatbirds morning update,

giving you all the Eagles news you need to know, as well as what to keep an eye out for today.

And I hope you all enjoyed your victory Sunday after the team played on Saturday.

And if after Saturday night you just checked out, didn't pay attention to the Eagles for the rest

of the weekend, and now you're on your way to work for hopefully what is one of only one

or two days of work you have to do this week.

Well, we'll catch you up on everything that happened on Sunday

and everything that happened after the game on Saturday

because the Eagles have now won two games in a row

and are looking good heading into the postseason

after they're somewhat dominating 29 to 18 win

over the Washington commanders on Saturday night

at the stadium that's not called

FedEx Field anymore. Still one of the worst stadium in the league. But after a dominating win

on Saturday night. And there's been some speculation or not even speculation, like some debate

as to how dominating it was. And look, I get that they didn't look great in the first half and they're going up against

marriota and josh johnson like i get that that's definitely part of it but i also think that when

you end up winning the game by you know essentially way more than double digits because that

trash touchdown at the end that the commander scored like they were in complete control of that game in the second half. And even

after the first half, where again, it was closer than it should have been. They did move the ball
