And to bring a little bit of context to the chapter as a whole, we are in the middle of Luke

So the first part of Luke 10 is Jesus sending out a bunch of his disciples and pairs.

And they are preaching that the kingdom of heaven has come near.

They are healing the sick. Demons are preaching that the kingdom of heaven has come near. They are healing the sick.
