When the Jets or the Giants are relevant, we oftentimes ask Kyle to show the back page of the newspaper. And for a while there, Kyle, we have to explain to some of the younger generation of football fans what a newspaper is or what print journalism is. I know that football isn't on the back page of the newspaper, but on today more than ever. Some points of other Mets. Yeah, exactly.

We have to explain what a newspaper is, but not to those who are fans of Philip Rivers,

because that certain generation of people, they know what print journalism about and what it is based within.

And with that, let's bring Tom Pelliserow in to understand further what the situation is in

Indianapolis, specifically in the quarterback

room. Tom P. Jamie, it is always an interesting year for the Colts at the quarterback position,

maybe never more so than now. Philip Rivers, just days after Daniel Jones suffered a season

ending Achilles injury, is coming out of retirement and

rejoining the Colts on the practice squad. Rivers is 44 years old. He is a grandfather. The last

time that he played in an NFL game, there were about 6,000 people in the stands in Buffalo because

it was the 2020 COVID season. A lot has changed since then, but not, I'm told, Rivers arm.

He worked out for the Colts on Monday.

He's throwing it like he always has.

There are plenty of other questions about how his 44-year-old body will hold up to the repetitive motions

to the first time that he would get hit.
