Welcome to Good Morning Football, presented by Old Trapper.

0:13.4

That's right. GMFB on a Thursday, everybody. That means there's a couple of topics that you have only one of two options.

0:19.9

You have to answer the question.

0:21.4

Pick one and stake your claim on it. And we always have fun with the last throwdown. But I got to tell you,

0:27.7

editorially, big change was made before the show about how we'd handle the third question of

0:33.1

Throwdown Thursday. It's because the first idea that was pinged around had something to do with company holiday parties. And it just didn't feel like anybody was ready to go to bat for the company holiday party at this table. So we didn't really want it just to be a one-sided answer. Seth, you a company holiday party guy? Absolutely not. But I did have an opinion on the particular choices we had. Okay. Yeah, yeah, I was ready to go.

0:54.2

Holiday party?

1:14.5

Absolutely not. Was that never a thing? No, we never have holiday parties. We have no parties for any. Not even with Vince? No, well, none I was invited to. There it is. Yeah. That's always a way to back out of something. I don't know. I was not invited. So the one that we landed on as the third option for Throwdown Thursday, don't worry.

1:11.5

There will be real opinions at the table about this. But let's start with the football, shall we, Bill's Patriot Square off on Sunday as one of the marquee matchups of Week 15. Yesterday, Drake May and Josh Allen both addressed the media about the stakes in this game. I think it's anytime you're at home and you're an underdog, it's you do something to play for a little bit. And I think you really were worried about, you know, all the, whatever the underdog and whatever they set the line at. You know, it's us first thing regardless of put the ball down. It's going to be zero, zero for 60 minutes.

1:45.0

We know we've got to play a full game.

2:18.5

So they've won the division for five years. So we've got something that we need to go take and, you know, it's going to be hard to do. But, you know, we're up for it. Josh Allen and the Bills, Drake, May, and the Patriots. Wow, Mante, those are your options. That's it. Who you got? Great options. Well, a few weeks ago, we had a question on our show about who, what AFC team do we trust the most? And I picked the Patriots. And the reason why I picked the Patriots, because I thought that they were the most complete team in all three phases of the game, offensively, defensively, and special teams. And if you go back to their Giants game, we know what we're going to get.

2:24.2

I think by now with Drake May and that offense, very efficient, making a lot of good choices.

2:27.6

Defensively, I think they play very physical football.

2:31.4

They play mistake-free football.

2:35.6

And I love how they're able to go out there each and every week and execute.

2:39.0

But the thing that stood out to me the most was the special teams and the special team's ability to have an impact on the game in a very positive way.

2:43.0

So if I had to choose between these two really, really good AFC East teams, I'm always

2:48.4

going to nod, well, not always, but this year I'm going to nod to the New England Patriots. Okay. Drake May is like a child, right? He's like so, he's so youthful. I mean, he just looks like a child. I love him. I love what the Patriots are doing. They're very exciting. It's nice to have them back in the mix. But I'm going with Josh Allen, man.

3:08.2

I'm going with Josh Allen and the bills because they got to have it. And when you've got to have it, you're going to put the ball in the hands of the guy who can make the plays. I don't care what type of game this is, I mean, it could be 50 to 52. Josh Allen is going to figure out a way. If the Bill's defense doesn't show up and this turns into a shootout, he's going to figure out a way.

3:26.0

He's going to figure out a way. If the Bill's defense doesn't show up and this turns into a shootout, he's going to figure out a way.
