And my take on the Bears hire moving forward, I expect it to be weird, expected to be unusual.

Love you Smith after winning 10 games and being completely beloved by the locker room is fired. So go one to the left. So the Bears can hire the head coach of the Montreal Alouettes. Understand that. They fired Love you, took him to a Super Bowl and hired a CFL coach. This is a different type of organization. He doesn't work. It's a total disaster. And then four days after John Fox is fired as the Broncos coach, the Bears hired him to be their coach. Also kind of strange, felt like a retread, and it played out like a retread. Fox doesn't work at all. Nagy's with the Chiefs before the Mahomes thing blows up. It's not the same deal. Matt Nagy's last game is the Chief's offensive quarter. They had a 21 to 3 lead in the playoffs and blew it. Matt Nagy says that was a failure by me. They hired Matt Nagy. It did not win the room. And then after Nagy's let go, you're like, we got this Justin Fields. This is the future of the franchise. You know who we should hire the Colts defensive coordinate? What? who also just had a massive lead down into the playoffs and they didn't make it and they lost the Jacksonville.

So when they make this higher, whenever the hell it is, and that includes promoting the

interim, which they may do, don't expect it to be like, hell yes, we got it.

Ben Johnson, it's done. Let's win a Super Bowl. Be prepared for it to be a name that no insiders have been talking about, that no one is expecting, and for you to be like, what? It might work. Lovie Smith was not that. Lovey Smith was a superstar in waiting that you knew he was going to be a head coach. He was a great coordinate and it out just get ready for the weird i do not think it'll be one of the headline guys so don't expect well somebody's going through buffalo i just don't know yet if kansas city's going through buffalo i don't know if there's a big difference between the two and the one it's not just the buy it's the title game all that it's interesting you say peter that they're just blowing everybody out because the chiefs don't blow anybody out. They don't blow anybody out,

but they win every game except against Buffalo. All right, so let's have some fun. Just give me

the Amari Cooper lateral thing. We're going to talk about this a lot. So he does miss him. He throws

behind them. And so he kind of runs over like, oh, damn. And he says eye contact right here. You got to understand, those two guys have not played together for years. They don't really know each other that well. Amari was a mid-season acquisition. But I think Alan said it perfectly. It's like two old savvy vets who played a lot of football. And when you make that eye contact, I like that Amari Cooper was just as crazy as Josh was. Because you know Josh is nuts, and he wants to make those plays. Amari is the quiet guy underspoken. He's like, screw it, I'll lateral to you. I don't think Amari's ever lateral to Derek Carr or to Dag Prescott. But that rush, I don't think he has maniac number 17, he's like, oh, you get down like this?
