that's slamming the south. New Orleans seeing the

most snow in more than a century. And just look at these images right here from all across the

country. Those temperatures and wind chills and dangerous territory breaking records.

And our very own, Ginger Z is here now. She's been tracking all of this. But your biggest concern

right now is black ice. What we can't see. Right. And a lot of these places we know, they don't have the ability or the mechanics to treat the roads.

And so what's going to happen is you're going to get into the upper 30s or 40s today.

And then it's going to melt a little bit and then compress.

And without it being cleared, it's not just ice, but like compacted black eyes. So something they also don't deal with because we're going to freeze again tonight and the next night and even some places into Friday or Saturday morning. So we'll get to

all of that. But I wanted to just share with you when we started seeing the images come in, even though

we had forecasted this, of Pensacola having 7.6 inches of snow. It is astonishing to look at. And I know

a lot of people enjoyed that first part yesterday,

but let me take you through the whole map and, you know, what we're going to look for for the next

couple of days because it's pretty important to see. So this is cool. I get to be in the big area here

and share with you what happened the last 24 hours. Look at some of those numbers. Nine inches was the final total there in Lafayette.

This morning they had an all-time record low, four degrees.
