But first, new details about the death of beloved actress Catherine O'Hara.

It came as a shock to so many just a week and a half ago.

Generations of fans who grew up and loved the actress who starred in so many

iconic roles, now new answers surrounding her sudden passing.

The official cause of death revealed for Emmy Award-winning actress Catherine O'Hara,

who died January 30th. In a death certificate obtained by ABC News, the medical examiner disclosing the 71-year-old

died from a pulmonary embolism, which occurs when a blood clot blocks blood flow to an artery

in the lungs. The death certificate also listing rectal cancer as an underlying secondary cause.

People with colorectal cancer have a four to seven times higher risk of having a pulmonary

ambulance.
