Just to get some context here, if you look back at

2024, there was a total of 285 cases for the entire year. So we are on track for likely breaking

that record at the end of this month. And this is driven mainly by low vaccination rates.

We need 95% of the community to protect against those outbreaks right now. Generally 93%, but there

are significantly under vaccinated communities. Gaines County where this epicenter is at, 80% of

children in kindergarten are vaccinated. And in the local school district where this epicenter

is at, less than 50% are up to vaccination. So it's so important to remember to get vaccinated

and understand the value of it.
