| 1:00.0 | Overall, some good news. The trend of deaths are downward by 34% when you compare the years of 1991 to 2022. That's averting more than 4.8 million deaths. |

| 1:09.0 | This is significant because that's the first time historically we've seen that. |
| 1:12.6 | For the first time, women have a higher rate of lung cancer, for example, than men. |
| 1:16.6 | Also, we're seeing rising rates of diagnosis in young adults, specifically breasts, |
| 1:20.6 | colorectal, and thyroid cancer, and the reasons behind that are not completely clear. |
| 1:25.6 | Could it be environmental? Could it be rising rates of obesity? |
| 1:28.6 | And disparities continue. |
