According to the CDC, the very first severe case of bird flu has been confirmed here in the United States.

What's the latest?

Starting on a serious note, this year alone, there have been more than 60 documented cases

of human avian influenza.

We're talking about H5N1, otherwise known as bird flu.

If you'll take a look at this map, the cases are relatively widespread.

The majority of cases, I want you to focus on California.

They have more than half of the documented cases of Burb Blue.

This comes after the Governor Newsom has announced a state of emergency in order to organize resources and fight against this outbreak.
