We're going to start with

Hurricane errands march up the East Coast, hundreds of miles away from land, but still a dangerous

force causing massive waves and potentially deadly rip currents from Florida all the way up to Maine.

Ginger is along the Jersey Shore with more. Ginger.

Hey, Rhian, and it is hard to imagine the breadth of the wind field.

I mean, hundreds of miles outside the center, tropical storm force winds are being felt.

And it's been far from the ideal beach day. Big time, eight to ten foot waves easily have already been crashing in.

And by tonight, when we take in

conjunction with high tide waves that could go about 15 feet it will get even uglier coastal

flood alerts are in place here all the way down through coastal south Carolina as this thing

pulls off to the north and east it's going to start racing away by tomorrow that's the good news

but the waves and the rip currents
