Texas is now reporting two dozen more cases of the measles.

What goes through what's going on here? Many people are asking me when I look at these numbers,

what are you looking for? And the main thing I'm looking for is stabilization. My hope is that we start to see these numbers get stabilized so we can find that peak of the outbreak.

If you look at this map, unfortunately, that is not what we are seeing. We still have this growing outbreak focused in Texas. In those blue states, you'll see that is where that outbreak is spreading. And in the yellow states, that's where we have isolated cases. Now, those cases are not related to the cases we are seeing in Texas, but one epidemiologist and some infectious disease physicians who I speak to talk about those cases as embers.

And if they land in pockets that are under-vaccinated similar to Texas, there is a possibility that we might see more outbreaks similar to what we're seeing in Texas.

Unfortunately, seeing these numbers continue to increase.

That is not good.

And New York State has issued a travel advisory.
