found that those who worked out between two and a half and five hours a week and

that included moderate and vigorous exercise for example taking a walk for

20 to 30 minutes and then going to the gym,

had an associated reduced risk of aphib by about 60%. And that risk reduced even more, the more you worked out.

Yeah, so AFIB, just to basically understand it, our heart beats at a regular rhythm that is coordinated by electricity. A-fib is when that rhythm is irregular and uncoordinated and that can cause a variety of symptoms,

including things like palpitations or feeling like your heart is beating out of your chest,

dizziness or feeling faint, especially when you try to exert yourself, extreme fatigue, shortness of breath, or even chest pain.
