overall when we survey adults have peaked during the pandemic, but unfortunately, these numbers

remain elevated. And it's not just about feeling like you don't have someone to talk to.

These translate to real health outcomes, if you remember, the Surgeon General noted a loneliness

epidemic associatingness to chronic disease and depression.

So this new survey helps us to understand exactly where we err at in terms of the loneliest

number, loneliness numbers with adults.

They surveyed adults 50 to 80 years old.

They found that 33% reported feeling lonely, 29% reported feeling socially isolated. Those numbers

were highest among adults who lived alone, adults who aren't working, and those adults who are
