Anne Rice Chronicles that were turned into films.

So we're going to be talking about 1994's interview with the Vampir. and Yes, big day. Big day.

Two big movies.

They're really big movies.

These are like huge movies in terms of the vampire sub-genre,

in terms of horror, in terms of the culture surrounding vampires and horror that I'm really

excited to talk about.

Yeah and we've talked about vampires before.

You know, we've done Bramstokers, Dracula, we've done Fright Night and The Lost Boys, but these vampires have always felt kind of different and I certainly know for myself I saw interview the vampire I think shortly after it came out like on

VHS so I would have been about like nine okay and like this was one of those

films that like made adulthood seem really complicated. I was like, so you're

gonna have sex but sometimes it's gonna be cool but also just you're biting each other but that's sexy.
