the facts matter, that the law matters, that the Constitution matters,

but these politicians can make up the decision any way they want to.

So how did you get to be Gloria Allred?

Well, there were very few women's rights lawyers when I started out in the 70s, and the National

Organization for Women asked me to be the president of the Los Angeles chapter, essentially

because I did care about women's rights, and also no one else would do it at the time.

No one else wanted to be called a feminist.

And so I did that. And then I decided that because I was blessed to become a lawyer,

there were very few women lawyers at the time,
