The weather continues to just rain and rain and rain here in New York and the suburbs.

And what an awful first week of April.

And that's why I always yell at Major League Baseball.

Considering the Northeast and the Midwest, it is just ridiculous to open the season

in late March because you get this foul late March early April weather. We don't get good weather

here in New York to almost May now. You might get lucky and get it the last week in April. It's just

never nice. It's just never warm. We don't have spring. We go right from our mild winters,

which is what we usually have, and we go right into summer. It's just one day it's 70 degrees

and away we go. I mean, that's just what

happens here. We don't have spring anymore. We really don't. And I bring this up because of

what happened yesterday. But let me go to the big picture first, okay? The Mets who have opened O and 4, and that's been a big source of irritation and
