Good afternoon, fellow investors, and welcome back to Invest Talk.

This is our Wednesday, October 29th, 2025 edition.

And in stock market history, October 29th is a date of undisputed significance.

On this day, 96 years ago, desperate investors dumped a staggering 16 million shares on the

NYIC, and it's a new record.

It was a new record for trading volume that would stand for nearly 40 years.

Billions of dollars were wiped out, life savings were destroyed, and wealthy industrialists,

as well as ordinary citizens, were decimated by what was declared Black Tuesday.

And that was the cause of the Great Depression, but certainly what sparked it.

That's hope we never experienced something like that, but it is important to understand history.

Because history does rhyme in many ways.

And this period that we're living in now may not rhyme with that, but it can rhyme with

other periods where you've had price spirals to the upside, kind of what we're getting

now.

Very similar to emerging market countries.

You go look at things like the YMair Republic. Equities went up dramatically.

Why? Because they're hedging us inflation. Inflation was out of control. So if you're surprised by what's

happening now, well, you're probably focusing on the wrong periods of history.
