to celebrate Easter. Though this year, many normally overflowing churches will be deserted. Normally these events, there are pilgrims and the faithful

gather and they usually come for the whole week starting with Palm Sunday

all the way through Easter Monday but instead now all the Easter

celebrations will be indoors or in the empty St. Peter Square. This is the Fox

News rundown global pandemic. Good Friday is a Christian holiday that marks the date Jesus was supposedly crucified.

The commemoration has numerous traditions all around the world.

Amid the coronavirus outbreak though, many of these events are cancelled or greatly modified.

Italy as well as how the Vatican will mark Easter Sunday. Starting first though in Israel, the Church of the Holy

Sepulchre was empty today with the exception of a small group of clerics. The priests

wore face masks to pray at the sight most Christians believed Jesus was crucified and resurrected.

Normally thousands would make the pilgrimage to the region at this time of year to mark the week
